Semen Gresik Donates 100 Orphans, a Form of Gratitude for the Glorious Achievement on the 10th Anniversary
Rembang, January 15th, 2024 – Commemorating the 10th Anniversary, PT Semen Gresik held a thanksgiving prostration, prayer together, and donation to 100 orphans which was held at Al-Hikam Mosque of Semen Gresik, Rembang Factory, Tuesday (9/1).
The event was attended by the President Director of PT Semen Gresik, Muchamad Supriyadi, Finance and HR Director of PT Semen Gresik, Fardhi Sjahrul Ade, and Operations Director of PT Semen Gresik, Benny Ismanto, along with management, employees, business partners, and representatives of 100 orphans from villages around the company.
The agenda was also filled with tausiyah and prayer together led by Ustadz Dr. KH. Abdul Ghofur Maimoen, MA (Gus Ghofur) the caretaker of Al Anwar 3 boarding school in Sarang, Rembang.
President Director of PT Semen Gresik, Muchamad Supriyadi, said that the company is even a decade old. Commitment to growth that is increasingly resilient during various industrial challenges and operational excellence efforts, the company can maintain positive achievements in 2023. Some achievements were able to make historical records for the corporation.
"Alhamdulillah, this agenda is a form of gratitude for the company's performance and achievements over the past 10 years. Hopefully, at this 10th age, Semen Gresik will be stronger and continue to contribute not only to the progress of the company and its parent company PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), but also benefit the environment and the surrounding community," Supriyadi explained.
On the same agenda, he continued, Semen Gresik in collaboration with the Zakat Collection Unit (UPZ) provided 125 vegetable carts to the Rembang area Vegetable Traders Association. Ustadz Dr. KH. Abdul Ghofur Maimoen, MA, invites all Semen Gresik people always to be grateful for all the blessings that Allah SWT has bestowed.
He appreciated the noble agenda, by sharing happiness with hundreds of orphans from villages around the company in Rembang and Blora Regencies.
"With efforts accompanied by prayers to Allah SWT to get the best results. So by always being grateful and surrendering to all God's decisions and believing whatever is given is a good thing that is full of blessings," he concluded.
